The parents of Trayvon Martin left court today after graphic pictures of their son's body moments after he was shot dead were shown on a projector screen.
As jurors in the George Zimmerman murder trial were presented with the pictures, some of which were close-ups of the teen's body and gunshot wound, Tracy Martin diverted his eyes away from the screen before leaving. Trayvon's mother Sybrina Fulton stayed for a time and stared straight ahead or closed her eyes when the harrowing images were shown. She also left the Sanford, Florida, court room a short time later. Some members of the jury were said to be visibly upset at the pictures. Zimmerman showed no emotion.
