Alabama wide receiver Marvin Shinn has opted not to participate in the Crimson Tide's offseason workout program and will likely transfer, coach Nick Saban said Wednesday.

Also, wide receiver Danny Woodson Jr. has been suspended for violation of team rules, Saban said. Likewise, he is not participating in the offseason workout program.

Both players redshirted the 2011 season and played as reserves in 2012.

Shinn, a former Vigor product, saw the field in all 14 games this past season, catching six passes for 42 yards. He saw significant playing time in the SEC Championship, as he filled the void left by Kenny Bell, who was out for the season with a broken leg.

Woodson Jr., who played at LeFlore, caught one pass for 9 yards in 2012. He saw the field in six games.
